Who Are We?
The seeds of Long Covid Stand Up were planted within the Inverclyde Long Covid Support Group, where individuals living with Long Covid gathered to share stories, frustrations, and hopes, while advocating for those suffering from Long Covid in their community.
Over time, the group’s reach expanded beyond Inverclyde. What started as a local support and awareness circle grew into a national and international platform—organising campaigns, events, and advocacy efforts to spotlight how many people live daily with Long Covid.
Long Covid Stand Up is a grassroots awareness movement created by and for people living with Long Covid. We stand together to raise voices, share experiences, and demand recognition for a condition that has affected millions yet remains widely misunderstood.
What began as a small call for awareness has grown into a nationwide network of individuals, families, and allies united by one goal: to bring Long Covid out of the shadows and into public understanding, policy, and action.
